The James Bond Car Collection partwork series is not as popular as other recent releases. We are displaying it as prominently at the front of the shop in a high traffic area but it has not attracted the same sales.
Maybe it’s a bloke thing – males 35 an over appear to be the most interested. Maybe it’s the James Bond franchise itself.

Whose cars will we see toward the end?
Part 16 is the Lotus Esprit from the Spy Who Loved Me.
We have 2 customer orders up to ths point and they are both for under 12 year old boys. One mum is buying it for the future and the other boy is one of our spoilt brats.
Part 40 will be the Citroen ‘Deux Chevaux’ from the edited scene, from the original movie, starring David Niven, shot in black and white, that belonged to the Directors girlfriend’s best friend!
Our demographic at this point on this partwork runs from 5 to 85! One has cancelled already however due to the pricepoint of number two.
Weird guys – very different demographic to what we are seeing.
