M Stephens, Lee, Jim and Denise have been busy posting comments here recently. M. Stephens started a week ago and was joined by the others today. I’d note that the Jim is not Jim the newsagent from country Victoria.
I can confirm that M Stephens, Lee, Jim and Denise are all posting from computers with the same IP address.
This information might be relevant for people reading their comments. IP address location tracking tools I have checked suggest they are located in Auburn NSW but these things can be inaccurate.
What is not inaccurate is that these four commenters share the same IP address and post anonymously. Anonymous posting is gutless.
As our good friend Gomer Pyle would say “Surprise, Surprise, Surprise” – I wonder what else these dropkicks share other than IP addresses – perhaps we should all be able to take a drag of the Auburn Havelock!
Why is it that what usually starts out as a constructive dialogue between like-minded individuals hoping to improve an embattled industry degenerates into a skirmish based on who can make the best smart-arse comment last – never mind if we lose sight of reality along the way, just keep bombarding the site with the crap you dropkicks seem to thrive on.
If you were truly part of, or interested in, the industry you might understand that most people in it aren’t interested in the confrontational crap you seem to thrive on – most of us are too tired after an 18 hour day to deal with dickheads – thankfully there are some more than willing and able and with a DTR better than average to keep you idiots at bay.
M Stephens, Lee, Jim and Denise – if you ever harboured thoughts of self credibility, THINK AGAIN – this industry will always be better than whatever you dropkicks throw at it.
Jim,
Well said!
I have purposefully steered clear of making any comment on the unconstructive, almost abusive banter that has taken place over the past week.
If it is not constructive, why bother?

Mark, A blog is just as you say. Open. It’s a place that YOU get to air your thoughts and WE the public get to make a comment. A blog can be an online diary. Better still, a blog has been identified as a popular source of online publishing.
Shame on you for stating whether or not two or more names are linked to the same place. Can you honestly say that you do not have an alias that you post with to ensure some of your suggestions have “back up”?
Sarah,
Let’s be accurate. It is four names. M Stephens, Lee, Jim and Denise each share the same IP address. Given the spite in some of their postings, their hiding behind anonymity and their attack without substance style, outing was appropriate.
I notice that they have not responded.
I have never used an alias to post comments on any of my blogs.

Fair enough. Enough has been said I guess about the subject. Let’s move on.
I’ll swing by the blog in a few days and let’s hope everything has settled down by then.
Sarah,
It was settled until the comments hit from the four names people and by settled I don’t mean everyone agreeing with me – heaven forbid! Debate is healthy and welcome.
Mark
