The title of this magazine gets completely lost when it is displayed in the shop; it’s too busy and the masthead is a shocker. I don’t know why publishers have to continually play with the colour of the masthead. It concerns me when this happens and I hope I am wrong, but I fear this months Australian Woman’s Weekly will fail as a result of the colour of the masthead. The flow on effect for all will be ACP cutting back supply of future editions because its sales figures for this title will be poor. Newsagents will then have to justify increasing supply for future editions.

I also agree that this masthead is a shocker.
however;
Weekly magazines are becoming too similar to their competitors.
New Idea and Womans Day are perfect examples of this. Their mastheads are often similar; as well as the person on the cover.
This affects us; as customers will choose one or the other (unless they are loyal to both).
