Playboy – an online success story

Further to my August post about the then just announced Playboy digital edition: Christie Hefner, talking about her company’s fourth quarter earnings this week said that they now have over 16,000 subscriptions to the digital edition of Playboy and that new subscriber growth of 50 to 100 a day. That’s a very successful digital magazine launch. No wonder adult magazine sales continue to fall in newsagencies.
